Hey everyone,
I guess it's time I get into the whole writing of a blog so where better to start than why I build decks and other outdoor structures.
I personally revel in the opportunity to spend as much of my time outside as possible in our never long enough summers. I also love to spend my days with great guys and build amazing projects for families and individuals to enjoy.
The thing I love about decks and pergolas and privacy walls and sheds and planter boxes is the ability to use creativity to make each one unique and different in some way or another. I quite often even get asked to blend a bunch of these things together using a wide array of different materials such as cedar, composite, PVC, steel, aluminum and even exotic hardwoods to name a few.
Now, it's not always fun and games. Each project has challenges that arise. Sometimes we need to dynamite our way through bedrock just to get footings in the ground to support what we get to build - ok not really but sometimes we wish that was an option! Other times there are aspects of the yard or house that we need to incorporate
or build around but that is all part of the creative process and we love the process!
